About Connie Yip

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I provide psychotherapy and prescribe psychiatric medication for individuals, couples, and families with a variety of therapeutic needs. My experience includes working with adolescents, families, and adults in hospital, residential, and school settings.

Whether you are going through a difficult transition in your life or addressing a longstanding issue, I can help you meet your individual goals with pragmatic tools. I focus on the strengths of each individual, providing a safe space to discuss your personal narrative.

I appreciate the complexity of the intersection of class, ethnicity, gender identity, and sexuality in a person’s life. I have particular interest in working with the LGBTQ community, health care providers, and new mothers.

In our work together, we will address your individual needs and create a unique plan that fits into your daily life. In addition to therapy and medication, my intent is to help you achieve overall wellness through an integrated approach, which may encompass meditation, nutrition, exercise, and behavioral changes.
